Hi, I’m Sandy.
I’ll be your coach.

For 14 years I’ve helped busy people across Edinburgh lose fat, get stronger and feel confident again. No quick fixes, no extreme diets. Just structured coaching that fits real life.

The person behind Forsyth Fitness

14 years. Hundreds of Edinburgh clients.

I started Forsyth Fitness to coach the people most gyms overlook: busy professionals and parents who know what they want, but can’t make a rigid plan fit around everything else.

Most of them arrive frustrated. They’ve tried the gym, the diet plans, the apps. They didn’t fail. They just never had a coach who took the time to understand what actually works for them.

I’m a busy dad myself, so I know how quickly a good week can fall apart. Every personal training plan I write is built around that reality.

How I coach

Built on three things

01

Structure

Every session is planned in advance with a clear purpose. You’ll always know what you’re doing and why.

02

Clarity

Simple nutrition and training guidance, explained properly. No jargon, no guesswork, nothing you can’t keep up.

03

Consistency

Coaching that adapts to real schedules, families and demands, so a busy week doesn’t undo your progress.

Evidence-based coaching

Expertise you can trust

I hold a Level 3 in Personal Training and an HNC and HND in Fitness, Health and Exercise, and I’ve kept learning ever since through ongoing education and 14 years of real-world coaching.

Every programme is built on evidence-based principles, then adapted to your lifestyle, ability and goals. The aim is progress that feels achievable, not just impressive on paper.

Is it right for you?

Who I work best with

You don’t need to be experienced or confident in the gym. Most clients start out feeling exactly the same.

Busy people

You want training that fits around work and family, not the other way round.

Want structure

You want structure and a clear plan rather than guessing your way through the gym.

Calm over chaos

You’d rather train in a calm, professional setting than be shouted at.

In it for the long run

You’re after results that last, not a quick fix you’ll undo by summer.

What clients achieve

The proof is in the plates
